SCL opens, Lady Dragons host Wednesday

On the heels of a challenging preseason schedule, with three tournament appearances, including a trip to Arizona for the annual Cactus Jam in Tempe, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity basketball girls (5-8 nonleague record) open their Sonoma County League season against the defending SCL champions.

The Lady Dragons host Petaluma tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Pfeiffer Gym, with the freshmen starting at 4:30, the junior varsity playing at 6, and the varsity tipping off at 7:30 p.m.

Sonoma’s girl cagers will then host SCL foe El Molino this Friday, Jan. 10, starting with the jayvees at 4, and the varsity game slated for 5:30 p.m.
