Concert for Cody at the Moose Lodge

Codi Binkley and Mooneyhan Promotions are presenting a “Concert for Cody,” tonight, Dec. 20, at the Moose Lodge. Cody Cordellos is the local young man who is suffering from EB, epidermolysis bullosa. The disorder is one that makes the skin extremely fragile and requires almost constant medical care. The event is to help raise funds to keep Cordellos in a comfortable living space and to offset other expenses. The night features music from Fallin’ Anjel, Sue Albano and Friends along with BackTrax. The music kicks off at 8 p.m.

The Sonoma Community Center has announced a series of concerts for winter 2014 that features some big talent, kicking off with Al Stewart on Saturday, Jan. 11. You may recall Stewart’s number one hit from the ’70s, “Year of the Cat.” Yes, that Al Stewart. Tickets are going fast and can be purchased at svbo.org or by calling 938-4626, ext. 1. For more info on the whole concert series, point your browser to sonomacommunitycenter.org.

Local resident Bren Wrona Norris received an email this week saying that she is now one of the singers in the Disney “WORLD OF COLOR Winter Dreams” show entitled “GLOW” which runs through Jan. 16, at the California Adventure Theme Park in Anaheim.

Disney commissioned Grammy Award winning composer Eric Whitacre to write a new song for the holidays and he wrote “GLOW.” Disney then created “GLOW” ears that synchronize to the music for the evening production in the theme park.

Sean Carscadden has announced that he will be producing the upcoming yet untitled album for Sarah Summers, and will be launching a fundraising campaign this week to help fund the project. Stay tuned for more info or point your browser to seancmusic.com
