Missing man located in Napa

The Sonoma man who was reported missing Monday from a nursing facility has been located in Napa.

Sgt. Dave Thompson, with the Sonoma police department, said in a release that Henderson “Buddy” Ashworth, 55, was contacted by a Napa County mental health worker Monday evening in Napa. Thompson said Ashworth is no longer considered missing.

Ashworth was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in his wheelchair on the sidewalk outside of Sonoma Care and Rehabilitation at 1250 Broadway. He was drinking coffee and looked as though he may have been waiting for a ride. At about 4 p.m., staff located Ashworth’s wheelchair at the front doors of their lobby but could not locate Ashworth.

Ashworth is from the Napa area but moved to Sonoma in September of this year.
