With Saturday's end of Sonoma Valley High School’s fall sports campaigns at the postseason North Coast Section cross-country meets in Hayward, Sonoma's winter sports programs, with two weeks of workouts in the books, will put their 2013-14 regular seasons in play with a busy week of basketball.

Tipping off the season with the annual Foundation Games, benefitting Sonoma County scholarship programs, taking place tonight, with the Lady Dragons playing Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa, while the Sonoma varsity boys host Casa Grande at 7:30 p.m. in Pfeiffer Gym – freshmen play at 4:30 and junior varsity at 6.

The Dragon hoops boys then open their nonleague preseason at Ukiah tomorrow night, Wednesday, Nov. 27, and will remain on the road until Tuesday, Dec. 10, when they host San Marin.
