The fall fundraiser for Sonoma Valley Teen Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Carneros Brewing Company, where the theme will be “Octoberfest Bier Garten and Marketplatz.”
Beers served by the Ceja family, proprietors of the new brewing company, will be serving up beers such as a Jefe-weizen, red Morena Ale, Cervez Pilsner, Negra IPA and Carneros IPA. The day also includes gourmet foods from Rocket Catering, Harvey’s Gourmet Donuts, Quarter Acre Farms and Valley Girls Food Stuff. These dishes will be served in the “pop up” outdoor market, where food-related products can be purchased.
Backtrax Rock Band will perform during the afternoon as well as Sonoma Valley Teen Services teens to add to the afternoon enjoyment under the garden pergolas surrounded by hop vines.
The entrance fee is $25 a person, and includes two drink tickets. In addition to beer, wine will be available as well as silent auction items.
Proceeds benefit the programs of Sonoma Valley Teen Services, such as the No-Name Café, the location for Teen Services’ Homework Club and Art Wednesday. Operation Bicycle, the Lovin’ Oven and “Skills for Life” career exploration and development occur at the Valley of the Moon Teen Center. The mission of Sonoma Valley Teen Services is to empower teens to make positive choices for their health, safety, education and future.
