Library to showcase Soul Sisters’ art

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library will host an art exhibit from the Soul Sisters Art Circle from Wednesday, Oct. 2, through Friday, Oct. 25, in the Forum Room.

The Soul Sisters Art Circle is a group of Sonoma women who have created together for over 10 years. Exhibition pieces include mobiles by Lisa Coleman; oil and water color paintings by Constantina; acrylics from Antionia Allawatt’s children’s book, “Once Upon a Curl”; photography from Maggie Bedord; and paintings by Lynda Evans.

There will be a reception to open the new exhibition on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit is open during the library’s hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
