Codi Binkley and Mooneyhan Promotions are presenting a “Concert for Cody,” tonight, Dec. 20, at the Moose Lodge. Cody Cordellos is the local young man who is suffering from EB, epidermolysis bullosa. The disorder is one that makes the skin extremely fragile and requires almost constant medical care. The event is to help raise funds to keep Cordellos in a comfortable living space and to offset other expenses. The night features music from Fallin’ Anjel, Sue Albano and Friends along with BackTrax. The music kicks off at 8 p.m.

The Sonoma Community Center has announced a series of concerts for winter 2014 that features some big talent, kicking off with Al Stewart on Saturday, Jan. 11. You may recall Stewart’s number one hit from the ’70s, “Year of the Cat.” Yes, that Al Stewart. Tickets are going fast and can be purchased at svbo.org or by calling 938-4626, ext. 1. Local resident Bren Wrona Norris received an email this week saying that she is now one of the singers in the Disney “WORLD OF COLOR Winter Dreams” show entitled “GLOW” which runs through Jan. 16, at the California Adventure Theme Park in Anaheim.

Disney commissioned Grammy Award winning composer Eric Whitacre to write a new song for the holidays and he wrote “GLOW.” Disney then created “GLOW” ears that synchronize to the music for the evening production in the theme park.

Sean Carscadden has announced that he will be producing the upcoming yet untitled album for Sarah Summers, and will be launching a fundraising campaign this week to help fund the project. Stay tuned for more info or point your browser to seancmusic.com

The Annex Wine Bar has Craig Corona tonight, Dec. 20, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, it’s Michael L. Castle, also for a 7:30 p.m. show. There is no cover either night.

HopMonk Tavern Sonoma has Sean Carscadden tonight, Dec. 20, for an 8:30 p.m. show. Saturday, Dec. 21, the tavern welcomes J. P. Soden, also for an 8:30 p.m. show. There is no cover and the shows are all-ages.

The Erik James Tasting Room has music tonight, Dec. 20, with Ron Dubin’s 4th Street New Orleans Jazz Band, kicking off at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, it’s the Left Coast Syncopators, featuring Tim Eschliman, Snakebite Jacobs and Kevin Zuffi, also for a 7 p.m. show. There is no cover either night.

The El Verano Inn presents Latin night tonight, Dec. 20, with Los Traviezos De Jolibud and El Nuevo Sabor Latino.

The Epicurean Connection presents Lesley Geer tonight, Dec. 20, starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, it’s Half People, also for a 7:30 p.m. start. Sunday, Dec. 22, it’s Dixie Giants kicking off at 1 p.m.

The Blue Moon Saloon has karaoke on Saturday, Dec. 21, starting at 9 p.m. The continuation of the blues jam on Sunday, Dec. 22 rolls on with show time at 10 p.m.

The Kenwood Depot is having an open-mic tonight, Dec. 20, that kicks off at 6 p.m.

The Sonoma Community Center is presenting Christmas caroling in Andrew’s Hall on the Rotary stage on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. All are welcome.

The Plaza Bistro presents the Brian Andres Trio tonight, Dec. 20, kicking off at 7 p.m.

Z and the Benders will be at Graffiti in Petaluma on Saturday, Dec. 21, kicking off at 7 p.m.

Adam Traum will be at the Marin Farmers Market on Saturday, Dec. 21, starting at 11:30 a.m.

The Dick Conte Trio will be at the Hotel Healdsburg on Saturday, Dec. 21, kicking off at 6:30 p.m.
