The California Highway Patrol is looking for a Santa Rosa man who rolled his truck Thursday afternoon on Warm Springs Road, left his girlfriend hanging upside down in the truck – and took off on foot.
According to CHP Officer Marcus Hawkins, at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jon Holley, 24, of Santa Rosa, was driving his 2006 Nissan Frontier westbound on Warm Springs Road near Wolf Run. Hawkins said Holley was driving too fast and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane, went through a fence before rolling over and coming to rest upside down against a tree.
Holley managed to free himself and took off on foot. He left behind his girlfriend, 23-year-old Sada Washington, of Santa Rosa, who was trapped in the truck.
Rescue personnel freed Washington and transported her to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
