Carol Lagomarsino Boyd

December 19, 2013

Our dear Carol, 70, left us suddenly and unexpectedly after a short illness. Carol was born in Ross Hospital, the first child of Jack and Phyllis Lagomarsino. She grew up in San Rafael, and attended St. Raphael’s and Marin Catholic High School. She spent most of her working life with the U.S. Postal Service, but she would readily agree that her most important work and greatest achievements were her three lovely children.

She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Dean (Lisa) Greisen, Tawni Greisen, and Jim Ures; her stepson, Arlen (Ashley) Boyd; her grandchildren, Chris, Michael, and Daniel Greisen, Jennie Hall, Ben Delzeit, Makaela and Jake Ures, and Zoe Boyd; her brother and sister, Ollie (Judy) Lagomarsino and Peggy Lagomarsino.

She possessed an indomitable and passionate spirit, a quick and inquisitive mind, a generous and fiercely loyal heart, a love of adventure and fun, and a superb sense of humor. Carol leaves behind the evidence of the only true wealth in this life: the family and many friends who loved her and who will sorely miss her.

Her family will observe a private service, and there will be a celebration of her life in the new year.

Farewell, Voyager. You’re in the arms of the angels now.
