Cal Fire open house

In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit will host an open house at the Glen Ellen station, 14000 Sonoma Highway, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 11.

Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit Chief Scott Upton said, “Open houses provide the community and fire service personnel an opportunity to discuss fire and life safety actions, outside of an emergency incident.” Upton invites residents to visit the fire house, take a tour of the fire station, see the equipment close up and visit with Cal Fire personnel.
