North Bay Business Journal is seeking nominations for its annual “Forty Under 40 awards,” recognizing the most influential executives and professionals in the North Bay area under 40 years old who fit any of the following profiles:

Entrepreneurs who create a new product or market

People who demonstrate extraordinary leadership qualities

Executives and professionals advancing quickly in their organizations

Innovators who have changed the way their industries do business

Individuals whose work has a wide-reaching impact on the business community

Winners must be under the age of 40 as of the April 22, the publication date of the profiles, and must live or work in Marin, Napa, Solano or Sonoma counties. See the list of winners from previous years at www.northbaybusinessjournal.com/40u40

Those selected will be featured in a special publication and awards reception.

Supporting documents are welcome but do not replace the nomination form. Winners are chosen based on qualification and not on the number of nominations received.

Winners are selected from dozens of nominees and represent honorees not previously chosen in past years.

Journal editorial staff selects the winners from the nominations on the basis of their leadership in companies and organizations across the North Bay.

“Business leaders tell us frequently that supporting outstanding young people is critical not just to the health of our companies, but to our economy and community,” said NBBJ editor.

Nominations close on Feb. 11.
