Greatest professional accomplishment: Rolling out a brand new menu (across all 19 locations and employees) with multiple menu items and ingredients that were new to our customers and our crew on time and successfully.

Greatest professional challenge: Learning to be resourceful and not to wait around for someone else to get things done for you.

Best advice received: Do fewer things really well versus doing a lot of things that are just OK and “dress for the job you want versus the job you have” and “Family is always first.”

Single most important event in your professional life in the last 12 months: Launching a loyalty program to our guests that has officially grown to almost 16,000 members.

What steps is your company taking to sustain your organization and morale in the current economy?

Family is everything at Mary's Pizza Shack. From the CEO down, the culture is to make you feel like family. Whether you are in the office or a server or a guest, we want you to feel like you a part of the family. This will always be our priority while also providing the best service and delicious homemade Italian comfort food.

We will continue to make our food from scratch daily, just like Mary did. We will strive to provide a fun and warm environment for families young and old as a place to gather, hang out and stay awhile. We will be overhauling our website to be more user friendly and mobile device friendly. We know how much convenience is important, so making it a place to gather important information quickly will be a priority.

Next professional goal: Become Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)
