Business start-up workshop set for Nov. 5

The Sonoma Valley Economic Vitality Partnership is teaming with the Small Business Development Center to offer a comprehensive orientation for those considering launching a business for the first time.

The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the training room of the Sonoma Fire Station, 630 Second St. W. Registration fee is $30 per session, with workshop details and registration links at SonomaValley4Biz.com or napasonomasbdc.org.

Licenses, legal form of organization, business planning, and marketing are among the topics covered. Workshop instructor Robert Toering has more than a dozen years of experience consulting to CEOs and entrepreneurs, specializing in strategic planning for new businesses and new products, and has been CEO of companies ranging in size from 20 to 2,000 employees.
