SONOMA VALLEY YOUTH Soccer Association is currently holding online registration for boys and girls ages 4-to-19-years-old, with walk-in registration slated for 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at El Verano Elementary School; from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at the Sonoma Market Place gazebo; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at La Luz Center. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS Sonoma Valley are holding late registration for volleyball and flag football leagues for third-through-eighth grades, and coaches are still needed. THE VALLEY OF the Moon Trap Club will hold its ninth annual Jim Meehan Memorial Trap Shoot and Barbecue at the club’s South Burndale Road site (27000 Burndale Road) on Saturday, May 3, with competition for men, women and juniors. The trap benefit event starts at 9 a.m. and the barbecue lunch, silent auction and raffle prizes and the awards presentation begins at 11 a.m. All the proceeds will be donated to the the Sonoma Valley Girls Softball Association and Sonoma Valley 4-H. Eyes and ears protection is mandatory. Donation tickets can be purchased at Steiners Tavern, 465 First St. W.; and Town Square, 482 First St. E. SONOMA VALLEY TENNIS Association’s free junior tennis program for ages 6-to-15-years-old will be held every Saturday in April and May at the Maxwell Farms Regional Park courts. The SVTA continues its free adult clinic for beginners and returning players from 6 to 7 p.m. every Friday in April at the Maxwell Park courts. No sign-ups are required. SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s seventh annual Dragon Hall of Fame banquet and ceremony will be held for the third straight year at Hanna Boys Center, 17000 Arnold Drive, on Saturday, May 10. SONOMA BOCCE BALL Association has begun its 12 spring leagues and is still taking sign-ups. The membership cost is $20 a person for the year, and anyone wanting to register can contact (John) 938-2101, or (Ginette) 935-3337.
