Betty Beattie passed away Feb. 27, 2014 at home in Sonoma, from complications of MS.
She graduated from Sargent College of BU in 1954. She taught PE at Dominican College for several years in the early ’60s but worked at home remodeling later in life. She enjoyed golf and bridge.
She is survived by her long-term partner, Shirley Smith; ex-husband, Edward Beattie, of Sausalito; daughter, Jessica (Don Cornelius) and granddaughter Catherine of Kentucky.
