Deets Winslow memorial set for Saturday

Following the death of Roger “Deets” Winslow, who was recently killed in a boating accident at Lake Berryessa, there has been an outpouring of shock, grief and tributes in response to the tragedy that took the life of the Sonoma Valley High School wrestling legend as both an athlete and longtime successful coach.

Little League D53 all-star champ Sonoma 9-10s

Reflections on the life of Deets Winslow

Wrestling communities in the Valley and throughout Northern California were jolted by the tragic death of Roger “Deets” Winslow, who was killed in a boating accident last Saturday, Aug. 9, at Lake Berryessa in Napa County.
