Two Dragon hoops boys SCL all-league

In the wake of their fourth-place Sonoma County League finish and postseason SCL Tournament appearance, a pair of Sonoma Valley High School varsity basketball boys received all-league honors on Sunday. High-scoring Dragon senior Jesse Summers was an SCL all-league first-team selection, while junior Cyle Gusse received all-league honorable mention.

Hanna hoops Hawks seeded NCS 4th, hosting Wednesday

Archbishop Hanna High School’s boys’ basketball team, which compiled a 22-4 regular-season record, was seeded fourth for the North Coast Section Division-6 playoffs. The Hanna Hawks will host 13th-seeded Laytonville in a NCS opening-round game at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 26.
