Home-town harmonica hero Junior Boogie has corralled a handful of blues legends and some local players as well to present an all-star band tonight, Oct. 24, at Burgers and Vine that we’re not sure how they’re all going to fit on the stage.

BACKTRAX WILL BE MAKING its last appearance of the year when they perform at Rossi’s 1906 on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Backtrax will be playing their last scheduled show of the year on Saturday, Oct. 18, in their debut performance at Rossi’s 1906 in El Verano. The band is the brainchild of Oscar Mooneyhan, who grew up here in the Valley and after raising his family in Reno, returned and married a fellow Sonoma Valley High graduate Kathryn Barton.

Now in its 24th year, the Glen Ellen Village Fair will be on Sunday, Oct. 12, in beautiful downtown Glen Ellen, starting at noon. They will be closing Arnold Drive between London Ranch Road and Warm Springs Road, giving the fair a true “block party” vibe.

Vintage Festival announces music acts for 2014

The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, held on the last full weekend of September since 1947, has announced the music festival portion of the line-up. But, before we go further, we want you to know that the festival is one of the few that foots the bill so 20-plus nonprofits can raise money for their causes over the course of the weekend, some garnering all the funding they need for they year from this one event.
