There will be a reception for artist Sue Vincenty from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Charles Creek Vineyard tasting room, 483 First St. W., Sonoma.
Small bites and wines will be served. Vincenty is a second-grade teacher living and working in the Bay Area. She almost never leaves home without her camera, always looking for interesting things to photograph. The composition and color is bold and lifelike. She loves to create all kinds of art and has started working with oils as well as acrylics.
