Well, Dagner overcame her Tilden Park worries in an impressive fashion by firing a standout round of an 11-over-par 82 and capturing an NCS-finals-qualifying second-place finish. "Brooke (Dagner) was outstanding. I knew she would do a lot better at Tilden Park this year because she's definitely a more confident golfer this year and she proved it with her impressive second place in a very competitive tournament," said longtime coach Tom Hickerson.
The next stop for Dagner - which is also the final hurdle she needs to clear to attain her goal of reaching the challenging girls' NorCals - is the NCS championships, which take place this Monday, Nov. 2, at the Baywood Golf and Country Club course in Arcata.
