Home and Garden Television (HGTV) is very quietly building a dream home in Sonoma on the corner of Fifth Street East and Patten Street in Armstrong Estates.

The home, which has been built from the ground up, will be given away in a sweepstakes in March of 2009. Details about the home are hard to come by because everyone connected to the project is bound by confidentiality agreements. A floor plan of the house shows three bedrooms, a wrap-around porch and an eat-in kitchen attached to a formal dining room.

HGTV has been building and giving away dream homes since 1997. The company stated on its website that the 2009 home is being constructed in Sonoma.
