Springs cleaning set for Saturday
On Saturday, April 29, community members can clear out their garage, attic, yards, or clean up their neighborhood and then their take their refuse and yard waste to either Sonoma Charter School, 17202 Sonoma Hwy., Flowery Elementary School, 17600 Sonoma Highway, or Arroyo Veterinary Hospital, 18501 Sonoma Highway. Dumpsters for refuse and yard waste will be provided at these locations from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The annual Springs Cleaning, now in its second year, is sponsored by the Sonoma County Redevelopment Committee and the Springs Task Force Coordinating Committee. The Goodwill will also be staffing a truck behind Arroyo Veterinary Hospital at 18501 Sonoma Highway for computers, all kinds of electronics, clothing, and household items.
Pickup service for large and small appliances, computers, and home electronics will be available by calling 565-7523, en Espaņol, 938-5131. Absolutely no hazardous waste, tires, or vehicles will be accepted. For more information, call the Sonoma County Redevelopment Agency at 565-7523.
