Barn fire put out by Sonoma Valley firefighters

Sonoma Valley Fire District responded to a barn fire on Arnold Drive Wednesday afternoon and prevented the flames from spreading to vegetation or other buildings.|

Sonoma Valley Fire District responded to a barn fire along the 19000 block of Arnold Drive at 12:28 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Sonoma Valley Fire Captain Gabe Stirnus said.

Sonoma Valley firefighters stopped the spread of the flames to vegetation or other building and contained the fire by 12:42 p.m., Stirnus said. No injuries were reported.

Fire crews continued to mop up the scene into the early afternoon Wednesday, Sturnus said, and an investigation of the fire’s cause is underway.
