ARThouse hosting exhibit, reception

The ARThouse Gallery in Glen Ellen presents “Seeing Green” April 5 through May 16. There is an opening reception from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

Guests will receive a complimentary glass of wine and refreshments and discover creations of more than 30 local artists.

The color green occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye and is considered the color of peace, harmony, modesty and renewal.

This soothing and refreshing color has been used by watercolorists Dorothy Pierce, Michele Weitzenberg and botanical artist Victoria Kochergin, among many other gallery members.

The ARThouse Gallery, 13758 Arnold Drive in Glen Ellen, is owned and operated by InterFaith Shelter Network, a nonprofit providing housing and comprehensive supportive services to homeless men, women and children in Sonoma County.

Visit arthousegallery.ifsn.org for more information.

The gallery is open Wednesday thru Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
