Anne Bromley

Anne Bromley passed away on Dec. 10, 2013, just 10 days after her 92 birthday. Anne was born in New Alexander, Penn., and spent her teen years in New York City. She served in the Navy Waves during World War II, and transferred to San Francisco. Anne met and married the late Jim Bromley shortly after the war. After living in San Francisco and Marin County, they chose to raise their family in Sonoma, and moved to their new home in 1953.

We will remember our mom for always putting her children and grandchildren above all else. Anne was a great example of a wonderful parent and we will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her son, Bruce, and wife, Peggy; daughter, Janet, and husband, Rick; her grandchildren, Katie (Phil), Scott, Adam and Brandon. Her older sister, Jewel, also survives her.

Private family services will be held at Sonoma Veterans Memorial Park.
