Sonoma Soroptimists offer education grant for women

Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley is offering $2,000 to help a woman who is the primary wage earner of her family go back to school to attain higher education or additional skills and training to improve her ability to provide for her family.

To qualify, the applicant must be attending, or be accepted to, an undergraduate degree or vocational skills training program and need financial assistance in order to reach her goals.
This grant, the Women’s Opportunity Award, is the major service project of Soroptimist International whose prime mission is to improve the lives of women and girls.
