Michael Crain, founder and president of Michael Crain Properties, Vineyard Advisors and Brokers, a Sonoma-based wine industry brokerage firm, announced recently his company’s affiliation with the Wine Country Group by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.   Crain has been a licensed real estate broker in California for 25-years and has been working exclusively in the area of land, vineyards and estates for the past twelve years.

“Our firm has successfully delivered brokerage, wine property appraisals, and advisory services on a regional level for the past nine years, and this is an opportune time to add the resources and marketing platform of the Wine Country Group,” said Crain.  “The economic conditions at this time drive the need for wine property owners to have greater access to what has become a market with global interest in the California wine country.  I believe the Wine Country Group has the expertise to greatly enhance our national and international marketing strategy.”

Gerrett Snedaker, Sr. Vice President, North Bay, Wine Country Group, said:  “Michael Crain is a highly respected and accomplished professional in the Wine Country market.  Michael’s most recent transaction was selling the 360-acre Mystic Hills Ranch in Sonoma, which was listed for $19,500,000.  He recently listed the 510+/- acre Sage Canyon Ranch in St. Helena for visionary restaurateur Pat Kuleto for $19,000,000, an example of the quality of client Michael attracts and serves.  For the Wine Country Group, Michael Crain Properties, Vineyard Advisors and Brokers are the perfect fit to further our effectiveness in the global marketplace.”

Snedaker will be working directly with Crain and Michael Crain Properties to further its effectiveness and reach.  Snedaker asserts, “We plan to realize the same success in this specialized segment of the Wine Country region that we have achieved on the residential side of the market.”

Crain, a member of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance, said that he is as committed to giving his talent and energy back to the community as he is to his business.  Michael Crain Properties, Vineyard Advisors and Brokers are located at 470 First Street East in Sonoma. Crain can be reached at 938-9899.  The firm’s website is www.vineyardadvisors.com.
