Kid's Day set for May 1

Sonoma Kid's Day offers a variety of activities for children and information for parents about summer events geared toward youth. The event, hosted by Synergy Dental Group, takes place Sunday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Moldovan Academy, 275 E. Spain St.

During the event, vendors of activities for children such as summer camps, birthday parties, bounce houses will showcase their products. Popo the Clown will be painting faces while the Moldovan Academy hosts its annual art fair. Kid Scoop News, Sonoma's newspaper for children and by children, will be present, as will the silent auction and raffle.

Usborne Books and More, Barefoot Books and Goosebottom Books will all have reading opportunities for children.
