‘Hop-On Hop-Off’ winery shuttle launches in Carneros

Sep 8, 2011 - 03:14 PM

Vine Line recently launched the first “Hop-On Hop-Off” wine shuttle (aka the ‘HoHo’) in the Carneros region of Sonoma Valley. Vine Line is an open-top shuttle that makes a continuous loop to area wineries, allowing riders to hop on or hop off at their convenience.
The shuttle runs from downtown Sonoma (in the state parking lot behind the Barracks) Thursday through Sunday, leaving from the Plaza area at 10 am – noon – 2 pm – 4 pm, and makes a continuous loop to Cline Cellars, Jacuzzi, Meadowcroft and Keating at Cornerstone Sonoma, and Bonneau tasting rooms, returning to each stop about every 30 minutes. Riders may also arrange for a pick-up with their hotel concierge.

“The Vine Line Ho-Ho is a great alternative for Sonoma visitors who want an easy way to visit wineries at their own pace, at an affordable price, without having to drive,” said Rich McKee, Vine Line’s operator.

Riders can board the HoHo and purchase tickets at any stop or purchase online in advance at www.vinelinehoho.com. Introductory tickets are just $25 per rider and Sonoma residents are invited to ride free throughout August.

Vine Line also offers group sales and charters. For more information visit www.vinelinehoho.com.
