Haircutting salon offering grand opening special on haircuts for $8.99

John Withers opened Great Clips haircutting salon in Maxwell Village (between Rite-Aid and Starbucks) last week and is offering haircuts for $8.99 as part of his grand opening celebration.
Although it is locally owned and operated, Sonoma Great Clips is part of a nationwide franchise at includes nearly 3,000 stores, the largest in the hair care industry, and receives the benefit of intensive training and support that the company offers its franchise owners, Withers said.
He added that the salon is family oriented and no appointment is necessary. "Our emphasis is on quality, value and convenience. We give great cuts at a great price with minimal waiting. All of our stylists attend our Great Clips training program."
Withers, was the first Great Clips franchise owner in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been with Great Clips for 15 years. Hair care products used at the salon include American Crew, Biolage, RedKen, Joico, and Big Sexy Hair. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call 935-0100.
