Char Kiel opens 'certified' home furnishings consignment store

Char Kiel recently opened CPO (Certified Pre-Owned), a unique home furnishings and accessories consignment store, at 21750 Eighth Street East in Sonoma.
Kiel opened the first CPO in Miami Beach in 2002. Originally from San Francisco, she found herself in South beach and wanted to redecorate, Miami style. Finding no consignment store in the area, she opened her own. CPO-Certified Pre-Owned became an overnight success with its Warehouse-Style consignment Boutique, and was featured on Miami Today and written up in style magazines internationally.
Upon her return to the Bay Area, Kiel decided to open CPO in a spacious warehouse space in the wine country. Located at the south end of Eighth Street East at Skypark, she has more than 6,000 square feet of open and uncluttered space in which she exhibits eclectic home furnishings and home accessories. It’s the first consignment store of its kind in Sonoma.
