Cecchetti Wine Company adds to sales team

Cecchetti Wine Company of Sonoma recently added Cheryl Ames as Midwest regional sales manager and Kortney Fitchner as sales ambassador for Northern California. A company spokesperson indicated that the additions were in response to"… impressive growth for the company’s Redtree, Line 39, and Backhouse."
Based in Deerfield, IL Ames will be responsible for sales in seven states from Illinois to Kentucky. She has more than a decade of wine sales management experience with some of the leading wholesalers, distributors and wine brands, including Maverick Wine Company where she led a team of nine sales staff.  Previously, she worked for Distinctive Wine & Spirits, Peak Wines International, and St. Supery & Vineyards. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Illinois University.

KORTNEY FITCHNER

Fitchner brings more than five years of experience in wines sales, hospitality, and events coordination to her new role as sales ambassador for Northern California. Prior to joining Cecchetti Wine Company, she worked at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Jackson Estate Enterprises, Kendall-Jackson Winery, and Hilton Hotels.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Santa Barbara.
