B.R. Cohn Winery adds Vintage Point as sales partner

Vintage Point and B.R. Cohn Winery today announced recently they have entered into an exclusive sales and marketing agreement.  Under the terms of the agreement, Vintage Point will serve as the winery’s national sales agent effective immediately.
 “We’re very pleased to be joining forces with Vintage Point,” said Bruce Cohn, proprietor, B.R. Cohn Winery. “Vintage Point’s David Biggar (president), Tom Peterson (COO), and their team are a great fit for us with many years of expertise that we can capitalize on.” Cohn continued, “The larger sales force Vintage Point brings along with a distributor alignment that matches ours will guarantee our ability to achieve our growth plans for B.R. Cohn nationally. We are looking forward to a close relationship focused on continued growth and long-term success.” Dan Cohn will remain the national sales manager for B.R. Cohn, coordinating day-to-day efforts of Vintage Point’s national sales team.
According to a winery spokesman, both B.R. Cohn Winery and Vintage Point have realized strong growth in recent years.  B.R. Cohn Winery has grown five-fold in the last five years behind the growth of their Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon.  A Chardonnay was added to the Silver Label series earlier this year.  Vintage Point growth has exceeded thirty percent in 2009 and 2010 and sales will exceed half a million cases in 2011, their fifth year in operation, behind a portfolio of hot brands including Layer Cake, Educated Guess, Garnet and Luna Vineyards.

B.R. Cohn is one of three new brands for Vintage Point this year.  The firm recently added noted producers Gary Farrell Winery in Russian River and Moone-Tsai Wines in Napa Valley to its winery portfolio in the last three months.
