Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 cup hot water
4 T. cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
Icing:
1 stick margarine
4 T. cocoa
1/2 cup rich milk
1 box (+/-) confectioners sugar

Preparation - Directions:

Sift flour and sugar together; set aside. Bring 2 sticks margarine, water and 4 tablespoons cocoa to a boil and add to flour/sugar mixture while hot. Add remaining ingredients and beat at low speed about three minutes. Bake at 350° for 30 and 35 minutes on a large cookie sheet with 1/2-inch sides.
Icing: Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add sugar. Pour on and spread as soon as cake is removed from oven.
