Pesto

Ingredients:

Handful of sweet basil leaves
1/2 to 3/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
1 t. salt
3 t. grated cheese

Preparation - Directions:

Place basil leaves in a blender jar with other ingredients and blend until all ingredients are finely chopped. You can pour into a container and freeze, if you wish.
To prepare: Cook a 12 ounce package of egg tagliarini (or make your own) to taste. Have the pesto sauce at room temperature. You may want to thin it out a little with some of the water from the pasta. Toss the cooked pasta with butter, then add the pesto sauce and toss again. Garnish with slices of boiled potato and a handful of fresh green beans, cooked. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
