Pecan Delights

Ingredients:

2 T. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar, dark, firmly packed
5 T. all purpose flour
1/8 t. soda
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 t. vanilla and bourbon each
Powdered sugar

Preparation - Directions:

Preheat over to 350°. Melt butter in 9 inch square pan over low heat. Be careful of glass. Can be melted in small pan and then poured in. Reduce temperature for glass. Beat eggs slightly in bowl. Combine sugar, flour, soda and nuts and stir into the beaten eggs. Add vanilla and 1 tablespoon bourbon. Pour this mixture over the butter. Do not stir. Bake 20 minutes. Cool a short time. Turn out on board or dish. Cut into square or oblongs, turn over and dust with powdered sugar. Very rich.
