Double Chocolate Crispies

Ingredients:

1-1/4 cup margarine
1 t. vanilla
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 eggs
1-1/2 cup flour
6 T. Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa
1/2 t. each baking soda and salt
1 T. baking powder
1/4 cup water
3 cups oatmeal (uncooked)
1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation - Directions:

Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla. Add 1 egg and mix. Combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to sugar/margarine mixture alternately with water. Add oatmeal and chocolate chips and mix well. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 12 to 15 minutes at 350°. About 5 dozen.
