Crabmeat Balls in Sauce

Ingredients:

1-1/2 lb. fresh crab meat
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup grated parmesan
2 slices French bread, soaked and drained
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 medium onion, chopped fine
6 eggs
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
Tomato sauce:
5 T. olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
6 cans of 8 oz. tomato sauce
6 cans of water (use tomato sauce cans)
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper

Preparation - Directions:

Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly with hands. Form into balls the size of walnuts. In 3 tablespoons hot oil, fry balls 3 minutes on each side until light golden brown. Drop them into tomato sauce and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
Sauce: Heat oil; fry onion and garlic until golden. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to fast boil until it foams. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with 1 pound spaghetti, cooked.
