Camembert and Crab Ambrosia

Ingredients:

2 T. butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, grated
8 oz. Camembert, diced
1 can crab meat, drained and picked over
1 egg
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup chopped parsley leaves
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
white wine
French bread

Preparation - Directions:

Melt butter over medium heat and onions and garlic and cook until onions are limp. Add Camembert and cook over low heat, stirring, until melted. Combine crab, egg, ricotta, parsley, Parmesan and Tabasco sauce. Add to Camembert mixture and heat through until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Add white wine to thin, if desired. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Place in a heat proof serving dish or a hollowed out bread round and serve at once with sliced bagette.
