Why spray herbicide next to garden and vineyard?
Editor, Index-Tribune:
I realize that, on the whole, people in Sonoma want to err on the side of reason.
The final cost factor (in spraying Roundup in public places) may be paid by our offspring or pets.
Why would you condone the spraying of herbicides next to the Patch, a source of food for many of us locals. Not to mention, the vineyard was also sprayed along the side of the bike path.
Whole Foods store is the sponsor for that section of the walkway and I don’t believe they approve of the use of chemical agents. It doesn’t sound fundamentally positive to me. Perhaps another review of the use of herbicides needs to occur.
