Walking for John

Saturday was the second annual John’s March Against Stomach Cancer at Sonoma Raceway. About 400 participants raised nearly $13,000. The walk, inspired by John Cardinale, a long-time employee at Sonoma Raceway who was diagnosed with Stage IV gastric cancer in March 2011, is a fundraiser for stomach cancer research and awareness. Anyone who could not attend but would like to contribute can do so by printing and completing the John’s March Against Stomach Cancer donation form at nostomachforcancer.org/support-us/events and mailing it with a check, payable to No Stomach for Cancer, Inc.
