Vail, Albrecht, Swanson lead Lady Dragons past Elsie Allen

With productive post play providing the foundation for another dominating team performance, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity basketball girls completed a victorious Sonoma County League road “trifecta” last night in Santa Rosa.

After opening the SCL season with back-to-back one-sided wins at El Molino and Piner, the Lady Dragons, powered by senior Ashley Vail and sophomores Mackenzie Albrecht and Delaney Swanson, raced out to a 19-9 first-quarter lead and never looked back in their resounding 56-21 defeat of new league member Elsie Allen.
