Too late smart

  This is an old Amish saying, and being of that heritage, I have thought about the lethal crosswalk on Fifth Street West. No one has come up with a workable solution so why not get rid of the crosswalk altogether? Oh, I can imagine there are all kinds of reasons why that can’t be done. It would definitely send people to the signal a block away and perhaps save lives.
