Short agenda for council
The Sonoma City Council will greet the new year with a modest, almost skeletal agenda Monday night that should mean football fans on and off the council will be home in time to watch the BCS Championship game by halftime without employing their digital recorders.
Following a 5 p.m. closed session with real estate and labor negotiators, the council will reconvene at 6 p.m. to issue a proclamation declaring January as Human Tracking Awareness Month, followed by a presentation by Kathleen Miller, president of the Parents Hospital Association at Sonoma Developmental Center.
Following review of the consent calendar, the council will discus and consider options for use of the Maysonnave Cottage, will then deliver committee reports and final council member comments.
