Red and White Ball returns Aug. 24

 

The Sonoma Valley Education Foundation has set the 2013 Red and White Ball for Saturday, Aug. 24, at the historic downtown Sonoma Plaza.

  The colorful event will again host Dave Martin’s House Party Band for a dance party on the Sonoma Plaza. The night will include delectable food including treats from the Sonoma Valley school gardens paired with Sonoma Valley wines. Also returning this year is the raffling off of a brand new Fiat with tickets going on sale in April (find SVEF on Facebook for more details about the raffle).

  This event has raised tens of thousands of dollars throughout the years for Sonoma Valley schools.

  SVEF supports local schools by funding programs such as the Exploratorium Science Program and the Visual Thinking Strategies art program, preschool for all at El Verano School, the Teacher Support Network at Sonoma Valley High School and the district-wide School Garden Project.
