Rains return, albeit briefly

It was time to look for those long-forgotten umbrellas as rains briefly returned to the Valley Tuesday evening and Wednesday. It didn’t amount to much, only .26 inches. While the Valley was way ahead of average rainfall at the end of December, an almost rainless January and February have left the Valley at about 75 percent of normal.
