Obama using kids as PR props
Editor, Index-Tribune:
As a PR stunt, it’s hard to beat. Primary school kids used as props in the signing of executive actions. With a stroke of his pen, the president would make gun violence go away. A real magic marker!
The kids, no doubt, were awed by the camera-popping event. Ironic, isn’t it? The man giving them high-fives racked up a multi-trillion-dollar debt they will inherit.
As president, Obama should lead by example to discourage the culture of violence. Yet, he’s the 2008 campaigner who said, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” His 2010 campaign speeches were liberally laced with the word “revenge.” Citizens who disagreed with him were “enemies,” a term former presidents reserved for foreigners who plotted our country’s downfall.

NO June, these children wrote President Obama letters asking for change and since their letters were so heart felt it was a very good thing to have their sweet faces on TV seeking change in our gun laws. Kids are scared today and they want change, they want to feel safe at school and their voices should be heard and more often as well! Read the small print will ya?
