Middle Eastern music at the Sonoma Library

The Sonoma Valley Library has a showcase of Middle-Eastern music on Wednesday, Feb. 20, that will feature sounds from Turkish, Egyptian, Lebanese, Armenian, Persian and Arabic musical genres, including classical, pop and folk music. The night gets underway at 6 p.m. For more info, call

  HopMonk Tavern Sonoma has Open-Mic on Wednesday, Feb. 20, with sign-ups at 7:30 p.m.

  The Epicurean Connection has “Words, Strings and Wild Things,” hosted by Stacey Tuel on Thursday, Feb. 21, kicking off at 7:30 p.m.

  Murphy’s Irish Pub presents Elaine Dempsey on Thursday, Feb. 21, kicking off at 7 p.m.

  The Annex Wine Bar welcomes the Grandpa Banana Trio on Friday, Feb. 22, for a 7 p.m. show.

  Murphy’s Irish Pub has the Jami Jamison Band on Friday, Feb. 22, for a dance party, starting at 8:30 p.m.

  HopMonk Tavern Sonoma welcomes Rick Swanger on Friday, Feb. 22, for an 8:30 performance.

  The Big 3 Diner has E. Z. Kewl on Friday, Feb. 22, for a 6 p.m. show.

  The Kathmandu Corner presents Wildflower Weed on Friday, Feb. 22, for an 8 p.m. show.

  The Eric James Tasting Room welcomes Bonnie Hayes and Tim Eschliman on Friday, Feb. 22, kicking off at 7 p.m.

  The Plaza Bistro presents Pamela Rose on Friday, Feb. 22, for a 6:30 p.m. show.

  The El Verano Inn welcomes hometown boy Junior Boogie along with Uncle Jesse and the Porch Junkies on Friday, Feb. 22, for a 9:30 p.m. show.
