With five Sonoma County League games remaining in the regular season, Sonoma Valley High School’s varsity basketball girls will be playing three of them on their home court.

The Lady Dragons, who had a bye last Thursday, come off a week’s break in their busy schedule by hosting SCL foes Piner tonight, and Elsie Allen this Thursday evening, Jan. 31, in Pfeiffer Gym, with the junior varsity starting at 6, and the varsity tipping off at 7:30 p.m.

Sonoma enters the week with a 6-1 SCL second-place record and will follow their games against Piner and Elsie Allen with a league showdown in Healdsburg this Saturday evening, Feb. 2.

The Lady Dragons then conclude the regular season by hosting SCL rival Analy next Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Pfeiffer Gym, followed by the finale at front-running Petaluma on Thursday, Feb. 7, with a chance to claim a share of, or possibly the whole, league title.
