James D. Savage, longtime resident of Sonoma, died on Jan. 3, 2013, at Sonoma Valley Hospital.
Jim was born in Rye, N.Y., and moved to California after graduating from Boston University.
He will always be remembered for his love of Sonoma’s walking trails and vineyards. His fondest memories were of walking in the early morning hours, smiling and wishing everyone on the trails a good morning.
